Milestone Projects

Rhino Mashup Renders For this first project, I had a lot of fun generating the concepts and learning the initial basics of tinkercad and rhino 7. For most of my concepts, I went with goofy puns or jokes since I was still getting comfortable with the software, which is where I got the idea for cupcoke since I am a caffeine addict. PaperCraft Objects This is the project I personally had the most trouble with, I started off with a simple crab design since I was having a hard time unfolding the other models I had made. But after seeing some classmate's projects I decided to make a new model from scratch and restart the project with the wrench model I made. Overall I'm very happy with the final result of this project. and I think it's my personal favorite of the class. 3D Printed Objects I had a few troubles with this project as well, my partner and I were really quick to find the concept we wanted to develop but beyond that, we ran into a bunch of problems, we had to go through...

3D Printed Hollow Form Object

My original 6 concepts didn't have too much direction to them as I was mostly experimenting with array polar and the transform tools. My partner Morgan had a design for a pot that we wanted to work with so instead of directly mashing the objects together instead I wanted to take the more polygonal jagged look of my concepts and smash that look with the smooth pot. I really liked the initial design we made but after running it through prusaslicer a few times it looked like the ridges were too steep to print So after that design failed I made a second cradle but upon putting it into Prusaslicer, the cradle around the pot just disappears, so I have not made any progress past this point.
