Tinker Cad Mashup Concepts

    Remix culture is the modern idea where media is designed to be consumed but also to be modified and manipulated. The most prominent example of remix culture would be in modern music with most new albums having a slew of samples and obvious inspiration from other creators. One of my favourite examples of this is a recent album ive been listening to titled 'Since I Left You' by The Avalanches, it is an album that is about 90% samples and 10% original music to connect the samples and form a more coherent and consistant sound.

Object 1: Foot Boot

The point of this mashup was purely comedic, to flip the idea of wearing shoes on its head and show a shoe wearing a foot.

Object 2: Books on Wheels

Object 3: Pencil Holder

For this mashup I wanted to juxtapose the sinister aura associated with the skull, and mix it with something as common and innocent as a pen holder.

Object 4: Guitar Knife

This is one of the first few mashups I made when I was figuring out the software, I wanted to work on cleanly integrating the two objects.

Object 6: Cheese Cup

I made this while my friends in the call were setting up a margarita night, so I thought it would be funny to fill up a margarita glass with a bunch of cheese.

Object 7: Pot and Stove 2.0

I made this concept thinking about how I could take an existing design and make it functionally worse in nearly every way.

Object 8: Cat Nap Desk

This idea is among the more practical mashups, I made a small desk model and then cut out a large section so cats could still get sunlight to nap in.

Object 9: Easter Island DOOM

Object 10: Birthday Cupcoke

This mashup is an homage to how much I dislike cake, and it is a terrible pun.
